2. Measures to prevent early cylinder wear(1) A new or overhauled diesel engine must undergo a strict running-in trial run before it can be officially put into operation.(2) Regularly check and maintain the air filter, oil filter, and diesel filter to make them work in a good technical state, which is to prevent dust and impurities from entering the cylinder from the air, fuel and oil passages, and reduce cylinder wear , an important measure to prolong the service life of the engine.(3) Regularly replace the engine oil in the oil pan, and the oil added must meet the requirements of the manual. When replacing the oil in the oil pan, carefully clean the oil pan and the lubricating oil circuit. The method is to drain the deteriorated oil first, pour the same amount of clean diesel into the oil pan, start the engine, and run it at idle speed for 3-5 minutes. , drain and clean the diesel oil, then wipe the oil pan, clean the oil filter at the same time, and finally add the specified amount of engine oil.(4) It is strictly forbidden to add water after starting, otherwise the cylinder will be easily cooled and cracked.(5) Always maintain the normal operating temperature of the engine. If it is too high, the oil will be diluted and the lubrication conditions will deteriorate; if it is too low, acid corrosion will occur, causing pitting and peeling off. Generally, the suitable working temperature is 70-80°C, and the evaporative engine can be slightly higher.
